How Azar works

You can browse profiles in the Lounge, follow people and start a chat when you are ready. Azar’s newer App Store notes describe a Discover tab that only shows people who are active, and connections that start with a text chat.

Video chats are one-on-one. Azar’s Google Play page also mentions real-time voice-to-subtitle translation for talking across languages.

Safety features Azar lists

Azar Badge – shown on profiles of members who have chatted for a while without breaking the guidelines.
In-Match Blur – covers the screen when inappropriate content is detected.
Moderation in Match & User Blocking – matches that break the rules are cancelled.
AI-assisted review of activity around the clock, according to Azar.

Is Azar free?

Azar says many features are free. Choosing who you meet by gender and region is part of a paid subscription, and the app also sells in-app purchases.

Who Azar suits

Adults who want one-on-one video with people from other countries and do not mind an app download. If you prefer to start from a browser, Kiss Live Chat (Featured) runs on the web as well as iPhone.
